How we work — 03

Fewer meetings. More real things to react to.

Most agencies make you describe, in a room, what you want. We would rather build a thin slice of it, put it in front of you, and let you react. That is why our first meeting is our second conversation — and it happens with a prototype on the table.

  1. 01

About 20 minutes of your time

    Brief

You fill out our Discovery Brief online. It is a guided, conversational intake — closer to coffee with a curious friend than filling out a form. Nine short sections covering your business, audience, taste, and what success looks like.

DeliverableA one-page internal brief about you, written by us, ready for the team.

  2. 02

    Within 5 working days

    Fit read

We read your brief carefully and decide if we are the right studio. Budget, tools, timing, chemistry — if we are not a fit, we will say so up front and point you somewhere better.

DeliverableA short, written response. Yes, with a first thought. No, with a recommendation.

  3. 03

    3 – 5 working days

    Prototype sprint

If we are a fit, we spend a day or two building a real, clickable prototype — with your actual copy, brand cues and content where we have them. Not a slide deck. Not a Figma file with a million frames. A thing you can hand to someone and watch them use.

DeliverableA clickable prototype on a private link — something real to react to.

  4. 04

    60 – 90 minutes

    Meeting one, in person

The first time we sit across a table — with the prototype open on a laptop between us. We walk through it, you push back, we mark it up together. By the end of the meeting, we know whether we are building this thing.

DeliverableA shared view of the project, a signed scope, and a schedule.

  5. 05

    3 – 16 weeks, depending on scope

    Build

We build in short cycles. You see the real thing every week, not a progress report. We tell you when something is harder than we thought, and when something is simpler.

DeliverableWeekly staging link + written notes. Launch on the agreed date.

  6. 06

    Launch day + ongoing

    Launch and care

We launch it with you. You get documentation in plain language, a 30-minute handover call, and two weeks of included support. Beyond that, a care retainer if you want one.

DeliverableA site or app that is fully yours, and a studio you can call.

A note on AI

We use AI in the studio. We tell you where.

AI helps us read your brief faster, draft copy scaffolds, spot content gaps, and prototype quicker than we used to. It does not design your brand, decide your product, or write the commitments we make to you. When we use AI in a deliverable — or when we build AI into your product — we will tell you what it does, what it does not do, and what your customers should expect.

Start with the brief

The brief is about twenty minutes.

We respond within five working days.
